Bucket List

I watched New Year's Eve on Tuesday, and despite it being a mediocre movie, it still inspired me to make a bucket list. In the movie, Ingrid (above) hires Paul (Zac Efron) to help complete a list of things she wants to do before she dies. In my opinion, I think everybody should have a bucket list. It's sort of like writing down the big dreams we've had in life and seeing how many we could accomplish. For me, simply typing it out makes me feel anxious and happy :D

I've excluded personal listings, but here's a few I have on my list:
  1. Eat at a restaurant from each of the 50 states
  2. Travel all 7 continents
  3. Eat pho in Vietnam, sushi in Japan, and cheesecake in New York
  4. Own a teacup Yorkie named MJ and a baby Husky named Mischa
  5. Live in the U.K.
  6. Go bungee jumping with a lover
  7. Watch my sisters get married
  8. Build a treehouse
  9. Work for a magazine company
  10. Complete my b-list!

Unknowingly, the list got sorted from the more difficult things to smaller things. Anyway, creating this list helped me to be more optimistic about the future :)

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

The Olsen twins have always been a big part of my childhood (I grew up watching Mary Kate and Ashley TV series, Full House, most of their movies, etc) but now they're more of a fashion inspiration to me than anything.
I love how they worked their way up from junior clothing to women's fashion and finally, the high-end clothing line The Row.

^ so adorable as Michelle on Full House

One of the unique things I noticed was how they only use 2 nail polish colors: black and red. The rest of the times, they simply leave it bare.

They're classy, chic, but also casual. How can that be?

Here's some of my sets inspired by Olsens' street style:

Who's your fashion inspiration?

Fall into Platform Fashion

Let me just say, I'm in love with these shoes! Although I'm not used to the new height level, it's comfortable enough to wear it for countless hours. On Monday, I did a mini photo-shoot with my sister just outside of our house, and the main event had to be these platform babies :)

I'll quickly mention about my back-and-forth hair color change in this post. Short story, I used to have golden brown/blonde hair for almost a year before I went Jet Black this May. Not to my surprise, the color started fading and by August it was dark to medium brown. Eventually, I unsuccessfully tried to dye it medium brown, and I ended up dying it Hot Red. I'm not sure how I got that idea.. anyways! Of course, the red also faded out so now I'm left with a slight red/auburn/dark/medium/brown/black/blonde thing going on here..
Without hesitating, I'm open to suggestions! :D

So here's the new bag from ALDO I hastily mentioned in the end of the last post! It's a black, shearling strap bag with a center divider inside. This, along with my other Foreign Exchange bag, has become a part of my go-to items!

Here's some detailed photos of my outfit:
